Thanks so much for sending this.  I'll be sure to pass it on to Patrick for his comments when he gets back next week.  As for me, I think this is fabulous that you're stepping out in faith and moving forward in this project.  I think that more of us should follow your example and take ownership of the various necessary projects and ministries, as after all, we are the church-- we're the body.  We are supposed to be doing things.  There is far too much waiting for a committee of who knows what to direct us --and thus nothing gets done.

 

I started working on logo ideas back with Pastor Jeff and again with Pastor Doug.  It never got anywhere, however.  Probably too many variations and choices...?  Who knows?  So I really like how you have narrowed it down to three.  Personally, I like #2.  It is clean and contemporary.  I like that it shows a vineyard-- and not the product of the vineyard.  It makes me think of the work being done. 

 

What is your next step in this? 

 

On the note of a motto-- I can see what you're saying about our current one.  I guess when you say something long enough you don't think of translating it to others...  But what you came up with is good.
